The Desi Accent

Outstanding! We came here last night for our work Christmas party on the recommendation of one of our employees (she is a regular guest here with her family). We had a vegetarian, a non-vegetable lover, and some who didn't like spice...we were all stuffed by the time we left! Our employee, Stephanie, spoke with the owner and server to help make sure we all got to experience the best flavors and explore new types of dishes. The ambiance was relaxed, comfortable yet fancy enough for a date or work meeting! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The food....to die for. I think we had about ten-twelve different menu items and each one was a treat! We will DEFINITELY be back for work...and with our families!

What an excellent place, our new fave Indian spot in the western burbs. Had two lunch specials. Butter chicken and butter paneer. Came with pakora, rice, lentils and copious amounts of butter naan! The lentils were a little spicy, but the main dishes were perfect amount of sweetness and spice. Will definitely be coming back to try their weekend buffet:)

i ordered the Makhni and lamb biryani. Both were off the charts. Soo tasty and so flavorful. I’m so happy to finally have found a local Indian restaurant that exceeded my expectations!! Also service was exceptional. They were very attentive to our party the whole time. 10/10 def recommend. The best part was Fluffy! ( ask to speak to fluffy when you get there. You won’t regret it!!)

We came here with some friends after hearing many positive reviews and recommendations. I came in with high expectations and a large appetite! I was happy to see that the food was halal for those who may be strict or following. The staff was very warm and welcoming and the restaurant itself was very clean. There was a cute dog on a leash near our table which I didn’t mind, but Im not sure how others would feel. Our friend ordered for the table and included vegetable samosas, these delicious fried cheese rolls, butter chicken, grilled chicken skewers, kufta grilled ground chicken, vegetable biryani and the most delicious naan. The fried cheese and naan were my personal favorites. The butter chicken was very very sweet which I had never tasted made like that before. It was personally too sweet for my taste. The kufta was very chewy and has a jerky like quality ti it. The chicken was just okay. I was a little disappointed by the food overall, especially for the price. We had told them we were celebrating a birthday and, although they did play music for the entire restaurant and brought out a sparker (which was super fun and epic), the sparkler was put in a cup with napkins and no complimentary dessert-bummer. I might come back to try other items off the menu and for some of that naan 🤤
